Senior patients are usually presented with a drop in performance, conspicuous gait, hypothyroidism (despite stimulation the activity does not change) and other symptoms. From experience, chronic and chronified pain processes are usually the cause. Some of these patients show absolute form-function changes, namely arthrosis or spondylosis. Others show only relative changes in form-function, as the joint mechanics are altered, resulting in inflammatory processes and pain in the body. If these are identified through a professional, orthopaedic examination and confirmed by kinematic movement analysis, they can be treated adequately and on the basis of evidence. This can be impressively demonstrated by the Compare Mode of the software. If the inflammation and pain processes are successfully treated, the most important stressor in the older body will be reduced, thus improving the immune system, and the quality of life.
